Soon there'll be three of us!

This might look like a simple picture of Josh and I with our dear friends' little girl, Maddie, but it's also a glimpse into what's coming for us in just six short months:
We are going to have a baby. Yes, we are excited, and yes, the thought of being parents for the rest of our lives and all eternity scares the daylights out of us. But it is a mandatory first step in the circle of life, and we seriously need the tax break.

Due date: Feb 5, 2008
Gender: unknown
Misc. details: Just one heartbeat, thank goodness!

This pregnancy has been very standard and healthy so far (knock on wood). I had a very easy pregnancy and delivery with Amanda, so
we're hoping for something similar with this one. So far, so great!

Congratulations!!!!!

That's just wonderful news. I'm very happy for you guys. Let me tell you there is nothing more rewarding than raising up a child of your own.

Congrats! How exciting.

I'm still stuck on the "being parents for the rest of our lives and all eternity scares the daylights out of [me]" part. Even though I know Chris would make such a good daddy! Anyway, best wishes-- that's so great!

Thanks Dan! We're very excited. I hope ours is as cute as your little Ava!

Deidra, I'm so glad you commented! Your blog had the updates I've been waiting for on Chris' blog, so I'm just going to start visiting yours instead. ;-)

Both you and Chris will make awesome parents! To be honest, neither Josh nor I feel prepared to be parents (financially or spiritually), but it was now or wait another three years, and I'm too old to wait that long.

Thanks Amber! All the best with yours too! Betcha can't wait to get over that first trimester, eh?

Just the other day I was wondering if you were going to have a baby any time soon, and there you go having a baby in you already. Congratulations! That is so awesome.

Thanks Bethany! I hope our kid is as a cute as little David is!

Sara, thank you for the congrats as well. Maybe you have a sixth sense that willed us to have a baby before you even thought it! If that's the case, tap your powers and tell me what its gender is.

Hearing the heartbeat was one of the best moments of my life... it made my pregnancy feel "real" for the first time, you know?

It's totally going to be a girl, right? :) For some reason I think it's a girl.

Katie, I'm heading over to your blog right now to see what the latest is on finding an apartment and reuniting with Todd!

Congratulations ! I know I'm a little bit late. That goes with my being late when I was born . . it's followed me all my life.

I hope things go very well for you :-) Can't wait to see the new bundle of joy when he/she arrives.

Thanks for wishing us well, ladies! We're getting more and more excited and love all the support.

YAY for February babies! :-)

Congrats. And yes the Sciatica is from the pregnancy, so the doctor has little hope it will go away before the baby is born. My mom dealt with it during her pregnancies as well so she's a big help sometimes.
