Letting it out

This is not a political blog, and I hate to intermix politics with my interpersonal relationships, but I just have to make one comment before I go insane. I tire of keeping it to myself day after day in my attempt to maintain peace with the Republican majority in Utah.

McCain is a moron for choosing Palin as his running mate. She alone is going to cost him the election - she cost him my vote and others' votes as well. If only he'd had the courage to choose someone this country needs, and not someone he merely thought could get him elected, this campaign could be going in a much different direction. But I can't feel sorry for him because this is what he chose, and if his desire to be elected outweighed his desire to find the best running mate, so be it. He doesn't deserve the presidency. Please don't give it to him.

But more important, please don't give it to her.

Go to thecutestblogontheblock.com and you will find lots of fun backgrounds for your blog. Also, I have found ashleysbloglayouts.blogspot.com, but I haven't tried that one cause I don't know if it will mess my links and posts up or not. I did notice that Cari has one of her backgrounds though.

My completely baseless guess is that she wasn't his first (maybe not even second or third) choice. I certainly wouldn't want to be the VP on that ticket. I wouldn't be surprised if he got turned down by some other potential running mates.

Frankly, I just haven't found much to like about McCain at all. He's not getting my vote . . . I just have to figure out who IS getting it.

Funny, because I was scrolling through Google reader, and not too posts before yours was someone who said that McCain was getting her vote just because of Palin.

Lots of differing opinions, and lots of different ways to look at things. It's kind of amazing to me. Thank goodness November 4th is coming right up!

She was the second choice, according to McCain's speechwriter.

Daisy-I completely agree.

To be completely honest, I cant vote for Obama because he lacks VALUES. He supports Abortions, live abortions, partial abortions, Infantcide, just to name a few. He surpasses Kennedy and Clinton on the most Liberal voting. He's only be in office for 2 years. In my opinion nothing is sacred to him. The taxes would go to the businesses which would then trickle down to us consumers. Everyone would end up being taxed more. Obama is for pushing the government into everything, and his plans will fail. He associates himself with evil people. I dont hate him, but I wont vote for him.
Sarah Palin wouldn't be running the country if McCain was to win, and at least she has values on keeping families intact. If husband/wife families dont remain intact our country will not be supported by God any longer. You have to vote with whom supports your values. You dont have to give everyone exactly what they want to be a humanitarian. You have to stand up for you and your family because not many else will these days.
Maybe you dont care about that though, just saying.
You put this out there so I was just giving you my honest opinion.

To Anonymous, whoever you are...

Do you realize that you don't have to vote for McCain just because you don't want to vote for Obama? Just the same as I don't have to vote for Obama because I won't support McCain.

Kinda funny how you turned my short vent on McCain/Palin into a much longer tirade on Obama. I thank you for your 'honest opinion' but why I should lend you any credibility when you post anonymously?

I can honestly say that I don't like any of the candidates.

Whom else is there to vote...? Are you going to write-in Hilary?

Perhaps I wish to remain anon to keep things safe...

I would have to say that Anon is a pansy!!!

I can't stand socialist agendas. I see BOTH candidates as promoting that, thus I wouldn't be able to vote for either one. Maybe that makes me a moron, but so be it. Though I do have to say, I love Palin's glasses, and the fact that she hunts, and the fact that she is from a small town and. . .. but she does lack the experience, and it just goes to show the lack of judgement on both sides in picking thier runnningmates, they each have gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe. But I'm totally for Palin 2012!!! ha ha

Anonymous, here is a list of all the candidates running for President, but you'll notice that some won't be listed on the ballot and will require a write-in. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to write in Senator Clinton as well.

I love you! As I was saying in my blog, I really try to be politically correct, but some things really piss me off and what is a blog if I can't say what I really feel?!
